Solar tech with a spiffy headline from Wired

There's a new Solar tech that's being released by a company named Solyndra. These are cylindrical modules that gather light from many directions including any light reflected from the roof-top. The modules are less affected by the wind so they don't even need to be bolted down to the roof. I imagine they don't need to track the sun like traditional solar panels. These rods use thin-film technology which isn't as efficient as traditional silicon solar panels but they are cheaper to make. Also apparently they are hard to manufacture, but Solyndra has discovered how to do so and remain cost-effective. I'd put money on seeing this guys make it big in this sector.
